Whether it be school or work, week vacations are always the worse. You never really get to relax because you know you’ll be back on the saddle fairly soon. And then the burden of work after that week just feels even worse than it did before you had the week off.

A Word From the Big Man
Even if things look a little different this week, it’s actually worse than usual.

Competitive virtual dress making could become a new e-sport.

There’s really little to say about this week in terms of everything, but especially with Stars. We’re in the middle of wading through all the different S4 members, and this was just more of the same. I won’t say it was a bad episode, but it wasn’t all that fun to watch. I don’t think Yume is a terrible character, but it feels like it takes the right kind of members of the cast to really make her particularly fun to watch. And when she gets stuck by herself, the episodes seem to drag a lot more than I think they do. This week’s scenario was just lacking a certain spice to make it really stand out. It might just be the lack of impact of the cast right now that prevented it from doing what it really wanted to.

That’s not okay.

This episode brought a lot of terrible prospects with it, but it also managed to completely change my mind on the Triangle trio…or well, you know. The entire baby issue is a bust and is still going to be a bust from the looks of how much longer and how they plan to draw it out. But the idea behind Triangle’s creation is interesting, and the sooner they take more of a main role in the arc the better. The highlight is that there’s good somewhere in PriPara right now. I think it’s just a matter of them finding that good and managing to not ruin it like they usually do. Good luck.

Just a little creepy there.

It’s almost fitting that Precure this week was all about avoiding failing grades. Precure might be the best thing out of the week, but it’s just that it looks pretty good put against a bunch of flunking students. Precure is pretty much hitting the average as it tries to find something to do at the moment, and I really hope it can work out of the hole it’s slowly but surely falling into. Overall, this week packed a really good lesson. The problem is that outside of that lesson there’s nothing else worth patting Precure on the back for.

What is love?

Fairilu was burdened this week by the fact that the second half of the episode might as well have been considered a recap. We’ve heard a hundred times over about how Lip was born and we don’t need to be reminded time and time again. I guess the truth is that they just ran out of ways to fill the second half of the episode and decided to pull it out of a hat by adding recap. If it weren’t for that it would probably be on the same level as last week.

Wrap-Up
I’d like to think that things will go smoother next week, but it’s usually best to expect the worse.
