Little Girl Anime Power Rankings Season 3 – Week 38

I promise there is a logical reason this got put off and not just a lack of motivation from mediocre episodes.

When pocket sand just doesn’t cut it.

I feel like that could do more than just blind someone temporarily.

A Word From the Big Man
Another rough week.

You never follow a woman to go shopping.

You could probably take that little tidbit I left you with last week to sum up what I’m feeling this week. Julio really didn’t get much time in the limelight as a villain, and it really has just felt like a ton of hasty plot developments for A La Mode. The bright side is that Julio hasn’t completely been removed from the equation, and there’s still a chance that he stays evil as opposed to moving to the good side. I wouldn’t say the chances of one over the other is equal, but I’m hopeful.

At least someone finally laughed at taiyaki Rola

Stars was a fluff episode more than anything else, and I can’t really say it did anything. I could stretch a few elements and try to apply them to character development somehow, but that wasn’t really the point of the episode. Stars hasn’t spent an incredible amount of time goofing off since the new season started, and I wish an episode like this would have just fully committed to one side or the other. There’s definitely room for both gags and character development in an episode, but this was more of a watery mess.

Doing homework is bad.

Fairilu did an offhand story episode and still managed to fit in more gags than Stars did. I had talked some time back how I wasn’t quite sure what the main plot of this season would be, and they finally got the wheels turning this week. Honestly, I wanted to put Fairilu over Precure this week, but I couldn’t get over the issue of no character commenting on three humans walking around in big head mode.

Something about sports.

PriPara does more PriPara things.

Wrap-Up
Mediocre.
