Little Girl Anime Power Rankings Season 3 – Week 45

I do apologize for the delay again. I had a personal deadline this week setup to avoid making a job any harder than it needed to be. I safely met that deadline but I also burned out upon completion and spent the entire weekend resting back. The current week of LGAPR should follow immediately if not later today.

Well, someone is overcompensating.

Maybe someone should inform Noire that they’re firing spears from a bow.

A Word From the Big Man
Stars was missing this week, and honestly there is always a drop in stability whenever it’s absent. Unless that week was meant to be a Rola episode.

You’re still adorable on the inside. Quite literally.

This week was finally the mid-season climax that happens every series. And I honestly feel that the build up was a little more entertaining than the actual climax. It wasn’t a bad episode at all, but I feel like some of the events (particularly regarding Pikario) were a little unnecessary (if not too condensed). The quicker plot movements have benefit Precure as a whole, but there are episodes like these where they pack a little too much in and thin out the impact of numerous events.

It’s times like these that make me feel like Seiji had a real blessed existence in Happiness Charge. He is really one of the few male characters that was allowed on screen for multitudes of time and never had to suffer a “character death” or be written out for any other reason.

You have to love Rose’s sass.

I made demands a few weeks ago and Fairilu listened. I don’t think the love story of Fairilu will ever get overbearing, but it was this episode that made it feel like it’ll still be a large player this season. Yumiri (Lip) hanging around with Nozomu seemed like it should have an actual impact on her idol career, and her manager finally sniffed it out this week. And all the while Rose and Yuuto’s relationship got mildly awkward. I know that they say men grow up to marry their mothers, but it almost feels like Yuuto is having more of a Char moment and searching for an actual mother rather than a lover.

Regardless, the squabble between Rose and Yuuto was really cute, and there were good developments for both Rose and Lip simultaneously. It was also a great improvement from how over the top various episodes involving Rose and Yuuto have been thus far.

I think Yui’s eyes do the opposite of helping her see.

I’m not going to spend a ton of paragraphs going over how Michiru is another clone character, but Michiru is a clone character. I know it can happen across franchises, but we’re still in the same universe for PriPara. And it’s not like this is the first time PriPara has done this either. The worst part is this usually happens in the following season. Sadly, the episode scenario itself was perfectly fine, but the clone issue just threw water all over it.

Wrap-Up
The real joke of this week is that PriPara gets to avoid last place just because Stars didn’t air.
